Has anyone cut laminated wood successfully with a saw without it chipping?

I've aquired a rather large oak effect book case that I love but I'd like it to fit in a smaller space....:think:

I was planning on making it narrower...

Off the top of my head....can you score the surface with a stanly knife before cutting through with a really sharp saw?

please does someone have a barcode for mcvities mik chocolate hobnob flapjacks pretty please.

cant get the pack to scan and none of my usual places has the correct barcode - not sure what I am doing wrong

Found something really odd on a receipt.

A was selling off the ground almonds rtc from £1.98 to £1 but 2 for £3.

Showed on receipt at £2 for 2 but compared on APG at £3 v £3.98 everywhere else.

I know this works for CC......but in store?

I was in A getting some stuff for my jollies and they had

Glasses cleaning spray 25ml bottles with a microfibre cloth for 25p each. They come in yellow, pink and blue bottles with matching cloths respectively

They were on the same aisle as the paracetamol and ibuprofen

Well I took my Spar code to our nearest store to get my free bottle of lucozade sports and inevitably it does not stock the right flavour. Our next nearest spar is miles away.
I've emailed their HQ but I expect the answer to be tough get over it or there will be think its acceptable to do an 18 mile trip to the next nearest Spar.

so I got the mcvities flapjacks from Morrisons and the wretched things will not scan and neither will any barcode that I put into the generator - so much for Mr C. Bunny.
I then tried to upload the receipts with the Butterkist popcorn onto TCB and it got so far but the ipad just shut down on me, have to wait until tomorrow to see if its showing on the pending list, otherwise it will need doing again.
The last receipt I did was from sainsbobs, double sided so I knew the receipt would be rejected so I sent photos via email straight away, just waiting for a reply.

I then uploaded the butterkist code onto the competiton website and printed off my MOC - only one allowed per day and it has a security code.

so I think that's the point to give up, lots of things will sort themselves out by Monday if I just go away and ignore them for now - nectar, TCB, Shopotize, Spa, walkers etc

did you use a different email each time with the popcorn ?
