Sorry to come back - there's just been a story on the news about a player's allegedly "vulgar" comments and it's caused me to get out an article from the Guardian of 13 August to find out what he said (I always want to know:o). It's not even a swearword at all, but a totally neutral word that has never had any physical impact for me. I doubt the word would get exclamationed (if that's a word;), it is now:D) out of this forum. Yet I note the team president "cited the player's 'unacceptable behaviour'."* Well, you know what - I consider the behaviour of playing offensive songs to be unacceptable and even more so, especially because my objection does relate to swearing. I find it more unacceptable and more offensive than the player's behaviour and yet he gets sanctioned and the people that program the songs, even or especially in those versions, do not.

D'oh - I guess maybe I am missing context. However, as an autistic person I am context-blind:p, so that does not remove or reduce the offence I had suffered. Double standard society and world again penalising some "unaceeptable" behaviour whilst not penalising other such behaviour and even more so when it's more intolerable to me. I note the dictionary says "unacceptable - not capable of being tolerated". I said "intolerable": Well, I rest my case. The player's was a single "offensive" comment (well, it's not caused me personal offence seeing it printed in the Guardian), as opposed to repeated and unacceptable and anti-social behaviour (behaviour that causes me, as a person not of the same household, harassment, alarm or distress - in fact all three).

Sorry folks! Back in my box now.

*Sorry - I'd better provide a link to it as a proper citation that I'm obliged to give. Warning of potentially offensive content. :( Except, I can't give the link as it itself contains the comment. So, at the risk of failing to give a proper citation and plagiarism, I fail to give the link. I'd link to one in the Independent instead - except that also contains the comment in the link:(:(. I note from the Independent that there was "no need for this kind of behaviour on or off the court" - apologies no link as link contains full "offensive" comment. Well, you know what? I think there's no need for that kind of behaviour, of implying swearing, in the gym and that that is also uncalled for and needless - especially as I would not even imitate the radio or imply swearing in anything I might say to a member of staff. And neither would I say them flat-out, so that's wrong too. It's not a concert or a cinema, where it is a selected audience that goes to see a film. It is an unselected audience that does not go for this and it is unacceptable in any method of communcation - it does not communicate an acceptable euphemism version but the actual swearwords. Especially when the "implied" version has me bothering about it even more. One of which songs I would describe the radio form as "snide" - yes, that's right, offensive in an indirect way so that's not even acceptable either. The way in which she is made to suggest in the radio version, to me, comes across as very snide and, if a person in normal life were to behave that way and imply the word like that, yes I would be highly annoyed by it and ask them to stop their bothersome behaviour. Offensive words are not acceptable (in places in which they cause offence). And snide suggestions are also unacceptable, because they are offensive. (So not off the hook on that there then:rotfl::rotfl: . Just hugely bothers me folks sorry.)

I love mince pies and have been on the lookout for a couple of weeks now :o:D

Girls are doing fab, thank you :A:) still chucking an egg out daily each and we seem to have been having less frequent visits from the fox so hopefully it's attentions are focussed elsewhere

They're going on their own little holiday next week. They are very excited about it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening peeps.

Queried my lost £20v today, first one I have ever had, that I used on the unavailable loo rolls and booze order at the weekend c+c, but my account has been suspended!

Todays small order has also been cancelled, lost the remaining £4 vouchers, plus can't get into my account at all!

Is there anything I can do about this please, I wouldn't mind but I hardly do any shops, would feel better if my credit card details weren't stored on their site!

    Please help if you can!!

How does this look for my interview please. I only have these little boots, some strappy open toed heels or ballet pumps. Would this outfit be acceptable for catering interview do you think. Tia xx
