One of my wombles cheered me up today... it had 3 bunches of bananas, 10 packs of Smartprice lard, and mouthwash. That's it. The mind boggles! :rotfl:

Fried bananas & if it was minty they could have a fake liqueur on the side. I'll never forget a party I gave MANY years ago when someone decided my minty Listerine was better than creme de menthe:eek:. I had loads as used to get it cheap as worked for part of company that made it. I had far less when I counted the following day!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Evening elite, I need to pick your brains for really easy to make food for a family of 5, I'm having a new kitchen fitted starting next week but its a complete make over, knocking through walls and moving water pipes etc so it's going to be messy, what can I make with a microwave, slow cooker and maybe a camping stove if I can get gas for it. Bearing in mind that I will probably need to prepare it the night before as I don't expect to get into the kitchen during the day.
Thank goodness for all the previous baked potatoes suggestions lol :rotfl: :rotfl:

Can't help with the cooking Majorca.

But god help you with your new kitchen glad I didn't have walls knocked down and pipes moved

Will be worth it when its finished :)

Can you store a freezer away from all the messy work. You could have all sorts of wonders ready for you.... you will find it hard to prepare food whilst the work is ongoing without eating lots of dust.

If not, make sure you all get invited to every friend you have for a meal!! You could repay the favour when your kitchen is completed and have a dinner party x

Long story but will update tomorrow. Ambulance took 2.5 hours to come, think it got the neighbours talking!

Thank you all for the support and well wishes. :A
