Reading the MIL horror stories I feel very lucky as my MIL has more in common with me than any other person I know. We get along great and I love spending time with her. OH says I am like her because I also am a boring old woman :rotfl:

    You are very fortunate x

    Morning,

on the subject of MiLs. DH went to visit her yesterday........... I am persona non grata for saying the wrong thing a few Xmases ago, so do not go very often!

So, I hitched a lift to town. Had a lovely time. Bag of recycling to H&M 2 x £5 vouchers wys £25 (DD will be pleased.) Pair of jeans recycled to Evans £10 off wys £40 (Pair of shoes for work?). found two pairs of work trousers in Jeager Sale, and got second hand Kindle in CEX with credit voucher. I was just relaxing in Caffe Nero with a free drink, when DH arrived to collect me. He was a bit stressed after a couple hours being moaned at and given jobs to do!:rotfl:

Off to Alton Towers today. Kids into park and me and DH to Spa. DD did not roll in till 5am, so not setting off as early as planned!!!!

    HE x

I would love to try this tactic, but sadly cannot. It was so wrong yesterday thinking... well she cannot possibly have long left!

I bet if she moved in with us she would live another 10 years!

    :o:o:o:o:o:o

    Morning all.
What a lovely sunny day here, just like summer should have been like.
I see the pathetic children had one too many shandys again last night, never mind, moving on. Going to friends for a lovely Sunday dinner later today, lots of us there so should be a good day.

Good morning everyone, I went to sada yesterday, there isn't one close by me but I had to go to pets at home and there is a sada near it so I stopped at pet shop first jumped in car drove 8 feet and it conked out, luckily there were 2 very nice men who pushed me into a parking space and I called out the breakdown services. Upshot of that long story was I didn't get to sada after all that, had to wait by my car as they could only give me an estimated time of arrival :( so close and yet so far :( grrr damn you car :rotfl: :rotfl:
one massive womble blew past me so I grabbed it, but they might have spent £100.46  but it was cheaper so no apg for me.
