Think the cat food must be a left over from the other month when they were all getting reduced. Now down to 75p but this flavour only. Slipped up as the one with the gocat offer on the front also has a 50p off voucher for gocat inside......not our gocat...the other one:rotfl:as well as the free sample of gocat

The face wipes were down to £1.24 on SEL

You will notice I have finally purchased some toilet paper. I found some spare change upstairs in a bag amounting to nearly £4. So went through S/S and fed pocketfuls of change through the till:rotfl::rotfl:

I am hoping 8 rolls will get me over the BH weekend:o

Get FREE chicken with old receipts

You might have heard of wombling - getting free vouchers for supermarkets by picking up other peoples old receipts - but did you know you can now do it at KFC?

All you need to do is find any receipt for a purchase of £3+ from KFC, and enter it into the Colonel's Club app. There are likely to be unwanted receipts hanging around the restaurant - so keep your eyes peeled.

First of all set up a Colonel's Club account, and register it on the app for a free stamp.

Then log into your Colonel's Club account online or on the app, and go to 'My Account', then scroll to 'Add a Chicken Stamp'.

Enter all the information it asks for from your receipt within 7 days of the time of purchase.

You only need three stamps to get a reward, you'll get one just for registering on the app, then there's one stamp available for every purchase of £3+ and two for every £15+ spend.

Take a look here to see what each reward level is worth.

    Boom! Free chicken.
you have to check if your local is doing the offer.

If our local was doing the offer I'd certainly not partake. Ours got a ZERO food hygiene certificate back in May. They may have cleaned up their act, changed manager etc. but who the heck wants fried chicken?
To be totally honest - I've never gone into or had a KFC or a McDonalds. We have gone in McD's in the US but just for coffee - which is good over there.

OMG I've just realised I've lied! We went to meet hubby's friend and his mum in London a couple of years back when they were over here. Typical brainwashed American he insisted on visiting a McDonalds for food - YUCK! They tell everyone over there you can ONLY trust McDonalds food. There was NO way I was going to just eat in McDonalds all weekend, one burger was enough for me. I'd changed Tesco points for Bella Mama etc. so he didn't get to choose again!

    Just back from swimming.

There was a Life Guard class taking place involving lots of fit handsome young men. They had half the pool taped off and they were taking turns rescuing each other.

I considered volunteering to drown as I would do it properly. Instead of going under quietly and being generally cooperative, I would scream, thrash around, hit out, grab hold of sensitive areas and generally make a nuisance of myself.

    But they never asked me:o
