I've discovered something very clever on Pinterest today... My new favourite hobby after you lovely lot of course...
If you have spare unwanted plastic beads you can melt them in the oven and turn them into something useful... Fruit Bowl, candle holder shapes for a sun catcher using metal cookie cutters and a baking tray... We made a coaster just to test out the idea... I just sprayed a ramekin with ood flora oil put the beads in flat and put them in the oven for 20 minutes...and hey presto

Very pretty! I think Pinterest is wonderful. I waste loads of time dreaming of things to make...0 -

Unfortunately it may be the case that the church took a short cut on the insurance. Maybe they should just coat the roof with sharp bits of glass
Insurance companies are very wary of church roofs because so much lead does get stolen. The church may well have been insured as much as it could be and still be left with a large bill.0 -

Not sure if this has been posted before but
Cherry Good Normal/Light Juice Drink is on offer for 75p in Tesco at the moment. If you go to the cherry good website (sorry, not old enough to post links) there is a 50p off coupon for this.
Hope that helps.0 -

East Anglia you say---that's me as well --so you are not \Trevor from Yorkshire then?:D
welcome to you anyway, we often pull up a chair for coffee and cake usually in a morning but that seems to have gone astray during these 'hot and balmy' summer months:D, all madness welcome:)0 -
