Flipping heck, it is unbelievable. But it will be all worth it when you have a lovely new kitchen x

Do you think it might be useful to start a list of which ones have and have not worked and against which stores?

    Good morning all.
I started the day with a laugh. My big black cat sneaked upstairs to say good morning. She ventured into the ensuite and found the cupboard under the sink open. She tried to climb into it (she is big, cupboard is small), and happened to touch a scrubbing brush. The reaction was hilarious. She shot backwards, all puffed up, then crept slowly forwards, raised a paw, and hit the brush about six times in rapid succession. She then sat back, looked at me and mewed, as if to say 'you're safe now, I've killed it', and proceeded to have a wash.:rotfl::rotfl:
Here she is, cuddled up with the two siamogs, an unusual event, cos she is an unsociable so and so:)

My happy mood was shattered when I went downstairs to find the sink and draining board crammed with DH and DS2's dinner debris from last night. We have just got a new dishwasher, AND they know how to use it:mad:.

D came home from hospital yesterday. We had to provide a divan bed after they decided he wasn't ill enough to warrant them providing the hospital bed that they had said he needed.
We had been told he was coming home via hospital transport, then they phoned Mum to ask when she was picking him up!!
His medication was labelled with the tiniest writing you can imagine, so I had to write out a legible list, and label boxes and bottles. There is a complicated regime of reducing doses of some items, confusing without proper concentration. How do they expect him or Mum to work that out, both elderly, he is ill, and she is forgetful. Anyway, sorted now, hopefully.
The social services carer did arrive last night, but reiterated that it is only for 3 weeks, then he has to have a financial assessment and probably pay for agency carers. All he has is his pension, but I suppose as my Mum has some money she will have to pay.

Anyway enough of that. I'm off to visit VT this afternoon to work out our trips when we are on our cruise. A bit of light relief, which is direly needed ay the moment.

Something I found while browsing this morning. The Cherrygood 50p voucher is still available if you google it. You can print lots if you use our preferred method;):p It is on offer in W and T at 75p, but is £1 at A, so with the voucher you would pay 50p and get an apg back. Good as a filler item on a AvT or AvW.:D

    Got to go.
Hope you all have a lovely day. It's warm and sunny here.

    The others that compare are
    Speciale
    Funghi
    Pepperoni and Salame
    Proscuitto and Funghi
Don't think the Bolognaise compares, but not tried yet. Couldn't find it in T or W so didn't risk it when I went to A
