    Morning all

It was a very chilly 8 degrees when I went round to let the girls out  it's becoming very autumnal these days; warm days, chilly nights and the daylight hours are definitely shorter than they were

I couldn't see any obvious signs of *that* thing but that could be the male scent around the run or it could be the plastic spikes we put up last night.

Whatever you're doing, have a fab day :D

  • Morning Peeps.

I was sitting outside with the iPad and a :coffee: but doggie kept barking for a game, so I have had to come inside.

Almost had a NSD yesterday. Only because DH paid the car bill and DS1 birthday takeaway. I paid for the rtc birthday cake reduced further by a couple of wombles! (How much are birthday cakes these days?)

We had really nice evening. DS1's birthday was actually last week, but we didn't celebrate it properly. We had a big takeaway, fizz and cake. Just us and DS1 school friend who is back from Uni. We will go out for a meal at some point, but we are waiting to take DH mum with us, and she is recovering from a medical procedure atm.

Spent the day making phonecalls re DM funeral. Luckily life insurance covers costs! How expensive is a funeral :(:( I have decided that I will make my own order of service and do the flowers. (I did a beginners flower arranging course a few years ago and I think I could manage the floral letters no probs!).

Too many things to do, still not firing on all cylinders, and shopping opportunities far more attractive than house work! :(

Have a great day! HE x

We did our own flowers HE for my Gran. Oh welded metal coat hangers to spell out Gran on a board we covered with that sticky plastic patterened roll. Filled the letters with oasis and added the flowers. Looked great. Good luck with everything xx
