    Please only order if you or your family need a blood glucose meter.

    It's for UK and ireland. i think you need to be on insulin for a free meter but that makes sense as its probably type 1 people.

    Type 1 diabetics need insulin, but so do many type 2s.


    It doesn't say that you need to be on insulin, but health authorities have cut the number of people who get free strips. Mine no longer gives them to diabetics not on medication.


    If you pay for your strips, this machine probably works out dearer as the test strips in special containers will cost more than loose ones.

    It does say that you have to be on insulin.

    Terms and Conditions

    Subject to the terms and conditions set out below, Roche Diagnostics Limited ("Roche") is offering to provide one complimentary Accu-Chek Mobile system to qualifying individuals (the "Offer"). One 50 test cassette and two Accu-chek FastClix lancet drums with 6 lancets each are provided with your complimentary Accu-Chek Mobile system to help you get started. Ongoing supply of test cassettes and FastClix lancet drums are required and are available on prescription subject to your GP's discretion.
    Applications will be restricted to individuals with diabetes who are on insulin and who reside in the UK or the Republic of Ireland. Accu-Chek Mobile systems will only be dispatched to addresses in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
    Applications will only be accepted from individuals aged 18 or over unless the application is being made by a Parent or Carer.
    This Offer is restricted to one Accu-Chek Mobile system including a 50 test cassette and two Accu-Chek FastClix lancet drums with 6 lancets each, per person and is not available to users of the Accu-Chek Mobile, Accu-Chek Aviva Expert or Accu-Chek Combo, or to persons who have received a complimentary meter from Accu-Chek in the last 12 months through other promotional offers or upgrade programmes from the date the form is received by the Accu-Chek team.
    Applications for the Offer can be made by completing the online entry form on the Diabetes.co.uk Roche promotion page and no payment is required for entry. Only one application per person or household.
    Roche does not accept any liability for technical failures of any kind including internet failures which may occur in the administration of entries.
