My husband and I would really like to buy a house. I have a bad credit rating due to defaults etc but my husbands is good and never defaulted. Would it be possible for him to get a joint mortgage with my Dad who's 66 and retired, good credit rating? He has no mortgage of his own as it is all payed off..
