Griffin iTrip Auto instore bargain

Our local Tesco has a whole stand full of Griffin iTrip Autos for £20 each. This is a decent saving as they're usually nearer £40.

I've had one for a while, they charge your iPod while sending the music over FM (you can tune the frequency easily on the little LCD box in the lead). They're so good I bought another for our other car.

Don't confuse this with the iTrip that doesn't charge the iPod!

The argos one (if it's 534/7634) won't charge the iPod when connected, but does have the advantage of working with any device that has the headphone connector that size.

Not a bad piece of kit either, but the charging bit is what makes the iTrip Auto work for me, it's great on longer journeys or when I'm away from home.

    but it's £40 on JL?

...and if you'd read the post properly, it does say it's the 'description, not the deal' :)
  • Costco have the Belkin Tunebase fm for less than £30 (vat inc i think)...JL are selling them for £60. Acts as a cradle as wel as charging and fm transmitter.

just be aware when sat in traffic if the car in front has one of these you may end up listening to their music.....

happened to me several times so i switched to a fixed connection.
  • Thanks OP,
We nabbed one this morning - stand was empty apart from 2 and it was full
    last week!
Had some really long journeys recently and really wanted one but couldn't justify £40. At £20 I had to have one, and just received £27 worth of vouchers
so my wife got it for me.
Got all the harry potter books on my ipod so it will keep the kids happy too!

£17.49 in my local ASDA yesterday morning.
  • The £17.49 one in asda does not have the charger - I noticed it as we popped into asda just after tesco's.
The one mentioned here was priced at £34.xx or thereabouts.
