Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:
TGI Friday !!!!!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will:

So, today I will:
- do piggy comps, clicks and surveys
- send birthday cards out with 2nd class stamps
- start using my new "get organised" diary!
- do online banking and update spreadsheet
- take coffee to karate to avoid spending money
- read my new book on uses for white vinegar
- do my storecupboard stocktake and make menu plan for next week
- not increase my debt in any way
- be positive and smile occasionally

* Look for more items to put on ebay/amazon
* Not use dishwasher or tumble dryer for 2nd day.0 -
Today we've unexpectedly started potty training our 2 1/2 yr old as she took off her nappy this morning and refused to have one back on. Fingers crossed but it we manage it'll knock £3.97 a week off our shopping bill! :rotfl:
Other than that have done my quidco clicks and checked ebay and our internet banking...
obviously inbetween asking our daughter 'do you need wee wees' every 5 seconds lol :rotfl:Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Hi everyone!
A book on the uses of white vinegar. And successful potty training reducing the shopping bill by nearly £3 a *week*! ..... good grief! There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy, Horatio...........
Well, anyway, I've just done my finance practice. Didn't do it by arrangement on Monday and Tuesday this week, and tho I did it on Wednesday and Thursday there were no signal, so no profit, no loss. But today, if I'd followed my rules, I'd have made £860. I'm a bit spooked, actually.
In the meantime, RL goes on, with zoom and ciao surveys, emails about the first mystery shop I did that earned me £4.50, and thinking all the time in the back of my mind about bankruptcy if actual circumstances don't change and none of the things I'm trying pay off. Except the stuff I do on the finance practice seems to work regularly - not every time, for sure. I'm very confused - basically hopeful, but confused.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
