And I take offence at your comments about charities in general. If it were not for the important work done by charities, there would be a great deal less quality of life for vulnerable people and those nearing the end of their lives - services which the NHS simply cannot provide. I can only hope that you don't have any client facing work in the NHS, because your attitude towards others stinks.

It's one thing to challenge people when they are in the wrong, another when they are not.

They most likely had a very good reason to chase references in writing rather than email, yet you totally undermined their procedures because you thought you knew best, taking a very arrogant and patronising attitude.

Good luck in the NHS indeed, I doubt you will last long as the organisation culture doesn't care much for people who think they know better than the experts!
