Yodel Courier Job - any Good?

Hi
I've been unemployed for about 8 months after walking out of a 'professional job' that I had done successfully for many years.
I've been living off my savings, and tried to start a small business (didn't work.)
It's come to the point where I am about to sign on at the benefits office - something I don't really want to do.
I keep seeing adverts for Yodel couriers. This job appeals to me, as for a number of years I delivered food for restaurants. This was before the days of SatNav, and speed was essential as cold food doesn't go down well. Overall I enjoyed the job.
I've asked similar questions on this forum in the past, but would like to ask again, what is it like being a Yodel courier?
Is it really high pressure (to the extent your driving as fast as you can.) They are claiming pay of £50-75 a day (which isn't that much.) I can see no suggestion in the advert that they will pay for your fuel?
Any opinions would be welcome.
