Flexible evening work ideas please?

I'm currently on maternity leave and go back two days pw in October doing a marketing job in recruitment which I love. I have twins and can't afford childcare costs hence doing just two days but I need some extra cash to fit around my job and the kids as money is very tight.
Ideally I'd like one evening per week, no weekends and would love to earn 50 a week! Am I dreaming!?
I'm dubious about franchises and direct selling, care work isn't for me either and supermarket work won't be flexible enough.
Would love some ideas! looking to apply for a mortgage soon too so i guess security is important too.

I don't think there is any specific job that is only one evening, especially if you're not open to anything (although care work and supermarket work is likely to be more evenings anyway).
£50 a week from one evenings work is highly unlikely (especially if only a few hours).
I'd suggest looking through job sites and seeing what you can find. You can also look through this board and see about trying some extra ways to make a bit extra (e.g. surveys, writing reviews etc.).0 -
How about Parish Clerk?
Not quite the money you wanted, but from home, flexible, challenging.0 -
A zero hours job where you can pick and choose which shifts you want, pays a minimum of £34/shift before tax and depending on where you live, possibly transport to work as well included.0

Any local takeaways, pubs etc that would take you on for an evening or two? You'd be lucky to make £50 a night unless you got great tips though. The takeaway I worked in only paid £5 an hour regardless of age, and asked me to leave when I got pregnant, so no security, but £30 for an evening's work helped pay the bills.

The usual suspects are: local shop that opens evenings; local pub behind the bar or waitressing; telephone canvassing (double glazing etc); party plan; babysitting; any food places (McD's to restaurants).
Depending on your qualifications, you could even look at presenting marketing courses at evening classes - you'd approach them with the course syllabus/opportunity and they stick it in their "courses available" book and if enough people sign up you get to teach it. And/or do this sort of activity for yourself, targetting specific business types or subjects and teach in short courses (e.g. every evening for a week; every Tuesday evening for 6 weeks).
You could freelance for small/startups offering to put together a marketing plan for their new business/expansion plans.0 -
How about online work for companies such as Leapforce and Lionbridge? You do need to complete some quite difficult tests before doing any paid work but once you're in the pay is reasonable and you can work whenever you like as long as there are tasks available.0
