amazon gift voucher

Hi all Im in need of some advice Ive just been sent an amazon gift code from client sample i was suspicious about it but it said for 20 pound for a survey id done well i do lots of surveys but gives me no idea what survey for or for which company ive redeemed it anyways but deleted my bank account details and changed password just incase has anybody here been sent anything similar or any idea where it might of come from

Just in case of what? Another company are nice enough to send out free gifts?

Were the bank details so that they could pay if? If so, they're not going to be able to take any money and not sure why you'd delete them if it's a legit company wanting to pay you.

As for the password, they're not going to be able to get your password from a voucher being sent out.

If you've redeemed it the voucher was legit. It's not a bad thing. I assume you gave your address when signing up for the surveys or for that specific survey otherwise they'd never have been able to send it to you and I've never known any scam company stealing/unlawfully getting details to be able to send some free gifts.

if it is just a code sent via email, log into Amazon your usual way (not via the email with the code on it).
In your account ,apply the code, if it works, you will have £20 on your account, if not, then it will say it isn't a legitimate code and you will know it was a scam.

It must have been legit, they said they'd redeemed it anyway. No mention of it not going through or any issues.
