Clearstep administration, what are my options?

Hi everyone, apologies if this is an old topic, but I've only just gotten around to trying to sort it out. I had started Clearstep treatment, paid for on finance, provided by Barclays. I was having the treatment done directly by Andrew McCance. Due to various personal circumstances, I never got around to figuring out what to do when they went bust. I would now like to sort this out. Since I had paid the finance in full, am I right in assuming that Barclays should either refund the cost of the loan or arrange for alternative treatment? If not, what are my options?
Thank you in advance.

Apologies for bumping this. I really need some advise on how best to sort this out, as I was left with my teeth half treated and they are quite painful on some days...0

As this was two years ago your options may well be very limited now. This was a thread from then https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4460441
Have you contacted the orthodontist directly ,what do they say?0 -
Thank you. Unfortunately the orthodontist was Andrew McCance, who was the director of ClearStep, so my options are limited in terms of using him to continue the treatment. Do I have any recourse via the bank (Barclays) that provided the loan for the treatment?0

well he is still in business as an orthodontist https://www.gdc-uk.org/pages/GDCSearchResults.aspx?RegNumber=&Surname=mccance&Forenames=andrew&isSoundexFN=0&isSoundexSN=0&Town=&Postcode=&isDentist=0&isDCP=0&isTemporaryRegistrantDentist=0&isVisitingDCP=0&isVisitingDentist=0&isSpecialist=0&Speciality=&DCPTitle=&IER=0&isAllRegisters=1
so your best bet is to contact him direct. As all of this was over two years ago I doubt the bank will be able or willing to do much about a refund but it's worth enquiring .0 -
Thank you for looking that up. He used to practice in London, so if he accepts to finish the treatment, it's now it's a 4hour round trip + rail expenses!!0
