Hmm do you realise you should not walk under ladders, don't break mirrors, never scare black cats, 4 leaf clovers are good?
Just thought I would check with all that bad luck
Hope you are both erm relatively pain free and erm OK0 -
It's true that everything seems to happen at once. I slipped whilst i was mopping the kitchen floor and landed on my knee. nothing broken but i decided i was the big hero and with a swollen knee could still cook the tea and wash the dishes. Cut my hand on a broken glass doing said dishes and ended up in A&E for stitches. When we came out someone had hit our car!!! We drove home in furious silence and was greeted by the sound of my son yelling at the dog at the top of his voice. She'd just shredded the back cushions on my new couch with her rediculously large paws, whilst trying to look out the window at the debt collector that had just knocked on the door !!!!! This was a few years ago and I cry laughing at it now but at the time it wasn't so funny. In a few months time you'll sit down and laugh at the thought of you both hobbling around together, I promise
Good luck with everything and THINK POSITIVE!!!! either that or carry on laughing...both are good0 -
That reminds me of a week we had, the prop shaft went on the car as we were visiting my gran, in the same week my fridge, tumble dryer and washing machine had broke. We got towed home and next day my mum rang to say my Gran had died and I never got to see her for the last time. I don't see the funny side of that years on but its peculiar how much bad luck you get at once to try you.0

Aww bless! Surely things can't get any worse. Glad you're able to laugh about it all...
Car got bashed in asda car park last night.. they didn't leave a note. Got home parked at the top of my drive, some kid ran in to the back of my car on his bike and left a right old dent.. it's cursed I swear lol... and contacted the CCCS to see about a DMP and they told me I'm beyond help!! Cue hysterical laughter....
CA xxProud to have dealt with with my debts
Debt free from 18th March 2013, long may it continue!0 -
Rofl I'm not going to say it can't get worse, because from reading all your replies quite clearly it can!
On the positive sides, both cars now fixed, had an MRI scan on my knee on Tuesday, and we have at least ONE good leg between us!

Honey I feel for you for the death of your gran. My sincerest deepest sympathies. Something like that is quite rightly, not funny. Certainly puts my problems into prospective when you hear something like that.0 -
It was a while ago but she was a huge influence on my life I was so gutted that something as stupid as a car breakdown stopped me seeing her. We had no idea, well we knew she was ill but she was getting treatment we didn't expect her to go with a heart attack.
I could see with your story how on reflection its funny, but it is weird how we get so many bad things at once it either breakes you or makes you!0 -
True....i'm still not quite sure if it's breaking me or making me......maybe one day i'll figure it out0

Mine was easy we divorced a few months later - now that I can laugh about now!0
