IFA for a mortgage

Hi, it's been a while, 11 years since I last moved and I wondered if with all the financial service changes in that time if it's worth using a broker. I've always sourced my own mortgages previously so don't understand if they can offer me something I can't do myself? If they can what sort of fees will I incur? I should add, I've got pretty straightforward circumstances, ft job, no ccjs, low ltv
Many thanks

Most IFAs are not mortgage advisers. Although many IFAs will employ mortgage advisers within their practise.I've always sourced my own mortgages previously so don't understand if they can offer me something I can't do myself?
The end result is the same. Its just a different way of getting there. Some lenders have branch only deals. Some have broker only deals.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
