No job is set in stone till you start and then 2 years after that.
Thing is if you hand in your notice and one of the conditions is used for you not to start you can end up with no job.0 -
It was offered verbally subject to references and I then got a letter with a confirmed offer last week after they received the references. I handed my notice in today!!0

Good for you. I realised I was too late when I saw the date on the first post but I would have said to make the move. I have never regretted a single move in jobs that I have made. A new start is a good idea, enjoy.0
