Wooden Floors, Belfast area

Hi folks,

hopefully someone can help. I have been pricing around for wooden floors and found a place on the Ravenhill road in Belfast.

They were quoting around 1300 for floor, fitting and skirting for the living room and hallway.

Are there any companies or shops you can recommend that I should try?

Depends on what you're after. Hardwood? Engineered? Laminate?


How much per square meter does that work out at?

That's for an engineered floor. A nice perk is it comes with a 25 year guarantee.

I wouldn't be totally opposed to a laminate floor as its basically half the price, but I know real wood looks a bit nicer, although it is softer and so susceptible to dents etc.

I'll need to check the quote to see what it is per square meter, I think it was around 35 - 40 quid
