Another pension review phone call!!

I had a happy, lovely, friendly call from Assure Pensions. A lovely young chap called Dane, from Assured Pensions, Midpoint, Thornborough, Leeds, BD3 7AY 0113 320 7796, rang me to tell me all about the new pension law changes, how pension companies are charging massive amounts in charges and how the government is urging all people to review their pensions and charges. (Really?)
I asked if they were registered with the FCA and to my surprise he said yes. I then asked for the registration number and off he went to get it. When he came back on the line he said his colleague was just getting it for him, as it's not something he's got just to hand at the moment. He was chatting away about his impending holiday plans, 2 weeks in LA when the line went dead and he's not called back? And I never got the FCA registration number either!
I checked their website and they are NOT FCA registered and have reported them to action fraud.

Unfortunately, these sorts of practices are becoming more and more common.
Even their own website confirms that they are not regulated by the FCA, albeit only at the very bottom in the small-print!

I wouldn't touch with a barge pole!0
