Halifax valuation to offer

Hi,

I have just received a letter from halifax saying the property I am looking to purchase is of the right value.

How long does it take for them to send out a formal letter and when can my solicitor expect to receive it? The solicitor is only waiting for the mortgage details, all the searches and queries have now been done.

Can I expect to exchange contracts within the next 2 weeks or is this going to be too soon?

I got the valuation report on the Thursday and my broker got the offer letter on the Friday.

I got my offer through last Tuesday and the valuation was done the Friday before. My solicitor received it one Wednesday. 😀
