Oh, pap, thanks for posting this thread. I've been looking for it all night. I've had a great day:j. I went to Lanark market today, and I bought 6 boxes of mixed lots. It only cost me £1.00, and I wanted the dishes that was in one of the boxes, so I was quite happy. But then as I was preparing to pick them up, I sold 2 of the other boxes at £1 a piece:T. So long and short is I got the dishes I wanted, and £1.00 for taking them.
I went with my dad, and DD and he bought us all lunch. Then I came home and I always buy my dad 2 cans of export on a thursday night, when he comes over to visit, but tonight hubby went to shop and bought the beer, and a bottle of cider for me:j.
Well it makes up for the big disappointment last night - we were on our way to flicks with 2 dds when my car decided it had had enough and broke down on the motorway:eek:. We managed to get it home under it's own steam, but it's going to the garage on Monday, and IT IS not going to be cheap! Only saving grace is that thanks to this site and my new budgeting programme, I hope I've managed to save enough money to pay for the repair.

trying you seem to have had a busy day... great work though :T as for the £1 please do unless you pop it into a savings box? if so dont count it but if it goes into your purse and mingles with the remainder of the challenge then yes0 -

Pap, thanks, I got a £1.00 coin from the first bloke, and a £2.00 coin from the second bloke, so it went straight into my £2 collection pocket, and my 13yo dd paid out the original £1 'cos she had change and I had bought her drinking chocolate.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0
