Malware from Clicktowin Ads?

Hello.

Whilst doing the Clicktowins today, my Avast kept giving me malware warnings coming from the ads on the Absolute Radio site.

Has anyone else had this? I use Chrome for the Clicktowins as it slows my Firefox down and Chrome can cope better.

Avast is renowned for false positives.

Some of the ads link to sites on the mse spam list (the same ones are on the itv website and others as well) and they used to have ones that would download little "extras", don't look at many of them now so don't know if they still have those ones. As long as you don't click on them they shouldn't cause any problems.

Install Adblock Plus from the chrome store and the ads should be gone.
