Barclaycard Balance

I have been reading the following article on here http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cards/barclaycard-offer-loophole and am after some advice on this.
I have a Barclaycard Platinum with a balance of just over £3000 at a rate of 16.9%. My partner has said I may be able to transfer this to one of her cards, will I then be able to transfer from that card back to Barclaycard to take advantage of the 6.9% offer for existing customers even though its someone else's card.
This would, if it worked mean saving over £1000 in interest as I would be able to pay it off a year earlier.
Any help or thoughts are welcomed on this matter.

Why not try for a 0% card?
I did this. Moved everything from my barclay card and overdraft and put it on my virgin card for 0% for 13 months. I have now cancelled and cut up my crappy barclay card :TMarch 2006 £15,200+ in debt April £843.64 in debt - Debt Free date Sept 2009
