To cut a long story short, I've got a CCJ for Cabot & Restons and believe me the agrevation doesn't stop there! Are there no limits to what they can do ? I say this after making over 70 logged calls in 2 days to make a payment that's due, that doesn't appear to be wanted after I refused to make a settlement that turned out to be being accepted as a glorified part payment !

Hi,
Welcome to MSE.
Can you be a bit more specific about your situation ?
It would help if you could detail events prior to getting the CCJ.

I'm so stressed by everything and the position I've ended up in, Stepchange are dealing with all other debts, the new laws re pensions meant I had a chance I thought of getting rid of the CCJ but I've been mislead0

How much is the debt for ?
Have you asked for advice on this from Stepchange ?
If the court has set your payments too high, you can get them reduced by filling in form N245, and submitting it to the court.
