... and become Love it! featuring OMG!
Yep, not surprisingly OMG! is merging with Love it! from the issue on sale the Thursday after next. Can't help wondering what effect this is going to have on the comps from Love it! as OMG! magazine's comps are already on the 'Do not post' list

Only surprise is they lasted as long as they did when they were offering nothing new in a declining market and up against long established titles.0

Goodtoknow looks like it is on its way out too - no new daily comps for a while now! Another one bites the dust!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

August 13th they merge & says this on the mag
http://www.omg-magazine.co.uk/competitions/
might be worth registering just in case we can manage to get
the comps posted, or find them on another comp site that doesn't
mind them posted.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
I only realised they were accepting online entries this morning. So I registered thinking I'd be able to enter the last issue's comps, logged in, and found that their entry form was five or six weeks out of date.'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' Terry Pratchett0

looks like teething probs to me but suppose we'll
have to wait & see what happens when the merge
gets sorted.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
They don't update their website/twitter feed very often, the website referring to the May 28th issue as "the latest/out now" and their last tweet was 1st June but they are still posting the comp answers on FB (presumably after the closing dates, the most recent answers are issue 21)

(the online entry option has been on the website at least 2 weeks and possibly since 11th June)0 -
According to this report it's OMG! that have taken over Love it! rather than the other way round. I also see that while OMG's website is still up, but not updated, Love it's seems to have disappeared. When trying to access the main page it's blocked here as !!!!!!, though someone's mentioned it's now a mobile phone site, and every other section of the site returns a 404 error.'...luck came to those who left a space for it.' This was part of a FB post on the OMG pageWe'd like to reach out to an even BIGGER market, hence the decision to merge, but effectively it is still OMG! but with love it! as the new title.
All I can ask is you give it a go on August 13 because we promise you will not be disappointed. All the regular OMG features have been included and we've thrown in a few extra features as well for you to enjoy.
There will be more prizes to win, more giveaways and all the winners will be notified by email and on Facebook and Twitter.
Even though loveits circulation dropped 10% last year to barely 100,000 I suspect that was miles ahead of omg and a chance to offload loveit was probably better for the publisher than closing it (they shut down their other title Full House Mag ages ago)0 -
All my email entries to Love it comps this month bounced back and failed.
Could this be the reason?0
