Rebuilding credit post discharge with credit card

Just thought I would share this as it may help people in a similar situation:
I was discharged from BR just over a month ago and want to start rebuilding my credit rating straight away. I applied for a Capital One credit card but was turned down, which is probably down to the fact that I haven't begun clearing up my credit file. I wanted to give it a couple of months to give my creditors the chance to update things first.
Anyways, applied to Vanquis last night, got a phonecall first thing this morning where they asked just a couple of questions about my income and then confirmed that I had been accepted! No questions about my BR or anything like that. Ridiculously high APR but that was expected and makes no difference to me as I will be paying if off in full every month anyway.

I got Cap one & Vanquis immediately after discharge - was amazed!
I've been spending about £60 a month on each & paying in full.
I need to finish cleaning up my credit files though. I've only sorted a couple of issues. Roll on 5 years time!!SPC 8 (2015) #485 TOTAL: £334.65
SPC 9 (2016) #485 TOTAL £84
SPC 10 (2017) # 485 TOTAL: £464.80
SPC 11 (2018) #4850 -
I was declared br in 2009 done my file clean up then used the card to pay for driving lessons and paid it off in full every month it was with vanqish and then I got a barclay card and on ei passed my test used it for fuel each month I'm so glad I did built me credit file up nicely
Now the vanqish card as a limit of 2500 but there's nothing on it at all
Just make sure you pay it every month and you will be fine0
