can anyone help me?

hello all,

this is my first post though it should have been made months and months ago as my problems are spiralling out of control!!!

current loans owed: lloyds tsb £885.82 @ £48 a month payments

RBS £4,500 @ £139 a month payments

overdraft: lloyds tsb £3,578.75 DR

total debt: £8,964.57

now im sure everone has bank charges issues but my bank (lloyds) has really started taking the !!!!.

every month the charge me a £20-£40 overdaft interest fee which although annoys me i have to deal with it for now,

but for the last few months when they charged me the fee they themselves took me over my overdraft limit then slapped a massive £90+ charge on my account!

that surely isnt legal?

my priority has gotta be this overdraft and lloyds loan coz i am desperate to leave this !!!!!! bank

:(

I've just had £160 last month in charges from Barclays which has really b***ered me. They cancelled all my direct debits so now I have moved all my banking elsewhere except my barclayloan payment of £335 which I have made an agreement to pay (along with the overdraft fees) over the next two months. See if they'll accept a payment plan like that. Then stop banking with them! I can't wait until this bank charges thing is over with so I can hit them with over £1,000 in charges back.

I am sure there will be some very experienced people along to help you very soon so the best thing to do is put a complete SOA on the forum so everyone can see it.
You have done the right thing and come to the right place. Hang in there!

  • Hi JJ - welcome to DFW! SOA - There is a 'stickie' at the top of this forum which helps you draw up your Statement of Affairs; basically what comes in and where all your money goes every month.
