Negotiating full and final settlements with link Financial

Hi guys,
Does anyone have experience with negotiating full and final settlements with link financial. I have an outstanding balance of 6900. I offered 700 to F&F settle and they rejected but offered 4490 to settle. Although this is a discount, I don't have the funds and want to get them down more! Any ideas or success stories welcome!
