Can someone advise what you get complimentary food and drink wise on the Manchester to Edinburgh route. I will be travelling on a Sunday PM and returning Monday AM.

From their website:Holders of First Class tickets are entitled to complimentary tea/coffee/water and a biscuit on services where catering is provided.0 -
Thanks I saw that on their website but couldn't believe just a biscuit as Virgin seem to offer proper food, oh well need to wait and see.0

From The National Rail Enquiries website, it appears that there is a catering trolley on your route, even at weekends.
Pace yourself - don't eat that biscuit all at once.0 -
What is the catering trolley? And will I get free food and drink? I can't contain my excitement regarding the biscuit:rotfl:0

You are aware that a TP Express usually consists of just three carriages, with just a couple of dozen first class seats ? You can't really compare it with a Virgin Pendolino - the whole TP train is considerable shorter than just the first class section of the virgin train, so don't expect to find a shop, buffet or kitchens......0 -
ooooo I like the look of the trolley:beer:0

If you want a decent complimentary food offering, specify via York when booking, and you will get sandwiches, snacks, drinks etc on Virgin Trains East Coast. On Monday morning you may get the full breakfast, depending on the train caught.0
