If mortgage lender is doing valuation, can we assume we've got it?

A lot has happened in a week! We went with a mortgage broker who has managed to get us with Abby National, we've passed the credit checks and the underwriter has just asked for our last 3 months payslips.
We were informed that the valuation is set to take place tomorrow, so does this mean we've basically got it – depending on the valuation?
I know the valuation is free so I'm not sure if they'd do it and then pull out of the offer.
Any experience with this? Cheers!

It should be alright, but until you know your offer has been issued you should not be doing any fowl mathematics.
It doesn't take long to get confirmation of the offer; so why not just view no news as good news and wait for the outcome?I am a mortgage broker. Good point, we're a little bit giddy as it's our first home.0
