Ireland to jail bankers who caused the collapse

The senior bankers at Anglo Irish bank are due to be sentenced:

    They are not being prosecuted for 'causing the collapse' whatever that means

    Perhaps they are to be jailed for causing the collapse of their defence against the charges brought against them - however, that might be letting the truth get in the way of an emotive headline :D

    I'm not sure assisting a client to commit tax evasion in Ireland is quite quite the same thing as causing the global financial crisis but I assume you will be explaining the link shortly.
