Pay adjustment

Hi

What does pay adjustment mean on your payslip?

This is my 1st payslip since coming back from maternity.

Thanks

  • I think it means they've adjusted your pay.

Where I work it would either be a deduction or an addition for that month.

So, if you came back half way through the month, and were receiving SMP for the first two weeks of the month, you might see your full month's salary on the payslip, AND the SMP for two weeks, but then there would be a deduction for two weeks of your salary.

I have been paid some money, not deducted.

My payroll is saying its my overtime pay but I said that they are wrong as it usually says overtime pay

    could be anything

how you expect anyone to know what your employer does is beyond me and you have drip fed what they told you rather than putting that in the first post.

anything else about the way you are paid you need to add so people can eliminate those potential ideas?

eg how were KIT days paid?
