Twitter Help!

Hi all! Going back through people/pages that I have followed this month I have noticed that my RT's for the competitions have been deleted. I'm worried that I haven't been entered for the competitions and therefore I'm missing out! Does anyone have any advice for me!

Yes this is exactly my problem as well! I know I RT'd because on some of them I posted a comment underneath but it says I haven't RT'd! Would love to know how to fix this if anyone knows how?

I'm not sure if this will help, but I went through some of the apps allowed into my account and removed them if they weren't needed. Go to settings ---> apps ---> revoke access. I can't remember which ones I revoked access on but something must've happened at least! It removes RT's on my account a lot less now since I did that. Other than that I'm not sure, it only seems to happen to me for comps now that end about a month after I've RT'd, but even that is very rare now. I thought that maybe RTing a lot of competition posts may make a difference too, as in maybe it can't keep up with and record so many retweets? I enter a lot less comps now on twitter than I used to and that's when I noticed my retweets would last longer without disappearing, so that may be another way to halt it a bit more. Just my theories though, hope the two of you find a solution! I agree, it's hard to keep up with, and incredibly annoying! :o

If you are talking about when the Rt is lit up in green isn't showing that isn't an issue, Twitters cache only shows so many rt's,if you fave the tweet as well that generally is clicked less and will stay lit up and you will know you have already retweeted it.

Twitter isn't removing your retweets they are all still there you can use http://topsy.com/advanced-search to check if you are still unclear.

Now if you are talking about comments under posts not showing that is a twitter issue, loads of twitter users, compers, non compers are being filtered, to find out if you are being filtered you need to private browse and check a post you have commented on and if it isn't showing you have been filtered, if you look from your own acct it always shows. It last 24 hrs at a time and there is no rhyme or reason to it, you can appeal to twitter though they do zilch by filling in this form: https://support.twitter.com/forms/feature_report?feature=notifications whilst you are filtered your comments wont be visible to companies or anyone you @.

So what you're saying toniq is that I have Retweeted the post and I have entered the competition but the RT button is not in green because it can only show a certain amount of retweets. I was just worried that I was not being entered into the competitions and therefore was wasting my time! Thanks for the help everyone and thanks emella I'm going to go into my apps on twitter now! :)
