BBC Worldwide are bringing the prehistoric to present day with a new DVD based on the hit CBBC programme DinoSapien. The Complete Series One is available from all good retailers on 27th August 2007, priced £15.99 - win DVDs!

DinoSapien tells the story of 15 year-old Lauren, whose father mysteriously disappeared on a fossil expedition in the Canadian badlands. While Lauren struggles to come to terms with his death, she and friends Courtney, Kit and Chris work at a Dinosaur Camp run by her mother, Dr. Hillary Slayton. The mystery of Lauren’s father’s disappearance deepens when Lauren encounters a live, seemingly intelligent dinosaur she calls Eno. How is this even possible when Dinosaurs were meant to be wiped out by an asteroid millions of years ago?

While Lauren and Eno form a cautious bond, Lauren tries to solve this riddle and
manages to keep multiple secrets as she protects Eno from the dangerous Diggers – dinosaurs that are tracking Eno and trying to kill him – and from the strange paleontologist Dr. Clive Aikens who is trying to find Eno for his own purposes.

DinoSapien is filmed in high definition and uses a gripping mix of live action, CGI technology and original sound made from scratch to bring the larger than life prehistoric reptiles to screens.
