Short term - spend a couple of hours comping today.
Medium term - try and complete my year of winning 20 prizes worth £15 or more in the year and find some competitions to post on the forum.
Long term - not to have to join compers anonymous and simply enjoy the hobby.0 -
short term - keep a record of my comp entries to see how many I actually enter (just brought a counter of ebay for 99p)
medium - get a wish ready for next year
long term - as above not have my family do an intervention
my wish list is sounding a bit optimistic but I am trying to win experiences rather than money (aiming for only 10) so far I have on my list
a family holiday to florida
a ipad
a shopping trip for me and daughter (anywhere)
some festival tickets
a London break for me and hubby
a garden wendy house for my daughter0 -
@captainjack2,
hiya mate, I do apologize for my possibly rude reply, but I have to ask: are you w*a*n*k*i*n*g your ego here posting these threads ?
We all would like to win posh prizes including me, but on the other side I don't let comping to take over my life and I certainly wouldn't bother fellow compers with lists every other day.
I work 6 days a week, long hours and nights to save for house deposit, I enter comps mostly for house furniture and accessories, if I have a will power to come here and enter some comps I do, if not no problem. But you are getting bit obsessed.0 -
I agree. This should be enjoyable and a bit of fun. This level of obsession is to my mind unhealthy and like any other obsessions/compulsions/addictions should be controlled.0

Disappointed not to see a fish slice on your list!
Not sure why you need a Touchscreen Laptop, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac and the games consoles at the same time. Each to their own I suppose.
I'm grateful for any prize I win and don't do lists as I'll only end up disappointed when the majority of things I really want don't get won.
I eventually end up saving up for the stuff I want which actually is far more satisfying then winnning it (obviously not everyone can do this).0 -
