Nationwide moving home coming off BMR

I have been on the nationwide BMR at the low rate and all the flexibility it offers.
We have had an offer accepted and are going to stay with nationwide but I'm keen now to fix into a long term deal since the rates will rise and this is our 'forever' home.
However, nationwide have much better rates if I am switching and fixing as opposed to moving home, even though I have been on the BMR.
Is there any way round this?

While the fixed rates may appear attractive the follow on rates will result in you losing the guaranteed 2% above base. Why not simply top up with a new product?0

Like a lot of people I have two mortgage sub accounts with Nationwide. One on the BMR ported from my old property and the other for the additional borrowing we needed to move house is a fixed rate product (was about 50:50 on each). Would something like that work for you so you have a bit of both security and flexibility?0
