Mortgage offer with conditions

My partner and I are trying to buy a new property. We have just had the mortgage offer come through, but there are conditions attached that require us to pay off our credit cards before completion.
Does anyone know how this affects the process?
What do I have to provide and to whom?
Each card is listed with an approximate amount.
Is this just for the solicitor to sign off that the conditions have been met or do I have to supply this to the mortgage lender as well?
Can I make the payments in the amounts listed and send my solicitor the proofs of these payments (ie a bank statement showing the payments In those amounts)
Will that satisfy the condition?
And will I be able to use my card again before the completion date, or do I have to wait?
The whole thing was a bit of a surprise as my mortgage adviser did not inform me that there would be this condition attached.

As I understand it the conveyancer is responsible and it will depend on their approach.0

I had this condition on my mortgage but it was never followed up on.
In hindsight I shouldn't of said anything - I think they really wanted to know about an ongoing balance (e.g. a debt being repaid) rather than a typical billing cycle of a credit card (where last months charges will always be outstanding)Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -
If your balances are circa £100-200 then its unlikely any solicitor will check it as its probably just a monthly useage and paid off in full.
If its thousands then a solicitor will be more likely to check to ensure it is paid off. To do that they may just want a statement.
Speak to your broker, thats what they are being paid for.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. My 'conditions' did not specify values, and solicitor advised that unlike other conditions as it put the onus on myself and not the solicitor to act on that they would merely "point it out" to us.0

Ok thanks for the responses,
I spoke with my solicitor, and he seems content with me providing a bank statement that shows that those amounts have been transferred to the relevant cards.
I just wasn't sure if this was going to delay things or cause issues further down the line after i had exchanged, if for example all of these proofs needed to be sent onto the mortgage lender. And i certainly don't want to get stung if the mortgage can't complete.0
