Do you have a HSBC Tracker mortgage?

If so, you may want to go online and see if there's better rate to switch to
I usually only go onto their website and click on the existing customer link to see if their rates have changed but this morning I logged into my account to see what my LTV was; waiting for it to drop to 60% so I can fix my rate (currently on 63%)
Anyway, i clicked on new products and saw a 75% LTV fee free tracker at 2.39% which isn't mentioned on their main website and is better than their 60% LTV fee free tracker of 2.49%
It was slightly dubious as there isn't a product name next to it but it let me select it and now I'm 0.3% better off. Trying not to think about how much better off I'd be if I'd seen it sooner..
Hope that helps somebody

My tracker with HSBC is 1.26% above base0

I also had a tracker with HSBC at 1.89 + base, and did see they had some better rates. However I made the decision to move as I wanted a 10 year fixed and unfortunately they had none on offer. Otherwise I would have stayed with them as the service has been great. Hoping my new lender provides the same level of service.0

Quick question then - do you intend to switch to fixed at some point?
I'm lucky that half my mortgage is on .89% above base and I know there are people on here with better rates than that. I won't be switching this product anytime soon but the half that's on 2.39 needs to be considered
Thanks0 -
Is this only available to existing customers?0

Yeah half of ours is on the deal I mentioned. We are looking at a purchase tbh, so will be moving away from the deal for a fixed 5yr opportunity, it's worse but because HSBC won't lend to us on the amount we require we need to move.0 -

I couldn't say with any certainty. I just know that I had to log on and go through the process of selecting a new product before I saw it. Most have product names ie Lifetime Tracker Loyalty or 5 yr fixed Loyalty but this one didn't have a name against it. Odd but my gain.0
