Nail on head for most <<25 year olds around my area. As far as im aware everyone has car on finance and pays the repairs with a credit card.

Car finance seems to me to be such a burden.

LOL - you must know some nasty people!

I know a lot of honest hard-working people who have become rich through their own efforts. In my experience the really rich ones become so because they enjoy making money rather than spending it - never take a holiday or surround themselves with expensive knick-nacks bexause they can't bear not to be busy or to take time off to shop.

Would it be cheeky to ask for any evidence or research to back this up? I'm guessing its just opinion? Trouble with opinions is that that they are like wheelie bins, everyone has one and most peoples aren't any better than the next person.

My opinion - most rich people simply worked hard, spent less than they earned, saved money and almost by definition found themselves rich.

I have dealt with many many dishonest people in my working life, i found no correlation between their dishonesty and their wealth.

I wont tar everybody with the same brush but I certainly know somebody like this! For years he went around screwing people over to make himself more money - did it to me and many other people - now its Karma as he is losing money hands over fist and is loosing everything including his home... Do I care? Not one bit... All I hear of him is well I have kids to feed and a mortgage to pay - oh well so did I but you didnt care!
