I've had my Solar PV system for around 5 years or so now and now with having 2 kids I find it really hard to monitor how much energy were all using and the bills are ramping up.
Am I right in thinking that I will need 2 energy meters ?
1 for my Solar PV =

1 for my main energy =

Thanks in advance

I don't know much about those but I have gone with the add-on for the immerSUN, which gives you 5 readings. Generation, import/export, house use and diverted to immersion. Updates in 15 second intervals. Export is possible for day, week, month and year, though seems to be a problem with IE11. Works fine with Firefox and Chrome. I have raised that as an issue - we'll see what comes of that.
No idea how it compares on price but that probably depends on whether you have or want an immerSUN.0 -
Thanks for sharing the information........0

I can't help you on the Geo monitors. I've been hapily using a Smappee monitor. It's one monitor that measures the total amount of energy that my home uses, the amount that my solar produces, and most importantly how much most of the large energy using devices in the house are using. This last part helped me see where the energy was going, which might help you figure out why and where your increased energy consumption is going. It also came with some control plugs which helped me reduce the stand-by load in my house and turned it into little bit of a smart-home.
