Squirty cream - fridge?

Bear with me here..............

I am going where they will be no shops for a week. Amongst other things, I am taking with me some scones, a jar of jam and some squirty cream - that's the plan anyway!

So, does squirty cream need to be kept in a fridge?!

    once opened it says keep refrigerated but its sold in some places not in the chilled section , i get mine from Lidl and its not chilled when bought
