Good afternoon
Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section.
My partner received a letter from the company Shoosmiths LLP Solicitors in Northampton late saturday afternoon(after the office closed) The letter was set out as below;
Our Ref. M-00338323
Date. 23 July 2015
Dear Madam
Our Client: Arrow Global Accounts Management Limited
Claim Number: 2QU01049
Please note that, whilst we are no longer instructed by the claimant and are unable to comment on the current status of this matter,we have been instructed by the court to serve on you a copy of the court order amending the claimant's identity and a copy is enclosed by way of service on you.
Yours faithfully
Shoosmiths LLP
The attached court letter is set out
IN THE COUNTY COURT BUSINESS CENTRE
BETWEEN
ARROW GLOBAL ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT LTD claimant
And
VARIOUS. Defendant
ORDER
On 24th June 2015 Deputy District Judge Thompson sitting at the county court business centre orders that:
Arrow Global Accounts Management Ltd of 12 Booth Street Manchester M2 4aw be substituted as claimant.
My partner has no idea who Shoosmiths are,or Arrow Global Accounts Management. She has had no previous correspondence from either of these companies regarding any matter.
What we would like to know if anyone can help is,what the court letter means? And advice onto what we do,first?(phone/email/letter)to Shoosmiths requesting clarification on this.My partner is already fretting about possibility of having to go to court.
Sorry for long winded post.
Many thanks,Lee

Hi,
Well Shoesmiths are used by Arrow Global, and other DCA`s as there Legal instigators.
Has your partner had any debts that have been to court ?
business gone bust owing money ?
moved house a lot ?
if not, then any views on here will just be speculation, I suggest you ring the court directly and find out what it relates to.

Thanks for the reply sourcrates.
She went bankrupt back in 2006 due to a marriage breakdown but hasn't heard anything from any of those creditors in the five years we have been together.Would she be aswell to ring Shoosmiths initially quoting their claim number?
Thanks.0 -

Hi,sorry for the late reply.
Yes my Mrs got in touch with them.It was in relation to a debt she had before she went bankrupt. Shoosmiths told her it was nothing to worry about, and no further action was needed.
Unfortunately Burlington Group wrote to her today demanding £305 for a Buymobiles handset via T-Mobile 24mth contract that started September 2012-September 2014.We paid contract up in May 2013 then 26mths later Burlington turn up,absolutely no contact from Buymobiles (A1 Comms) prior.
