Sprinkles

Options
Not sure whether this is more appropriate for the Special Occasions forums but I know that this frum is a fountain of knowledge where baking is concerned.

I am planning on making some cupcakes for a party this weekend and I wanted to put lots of fancy sprinkles and the like on the cakes but I can't find anywhere to buy them. The supermarkets only seem to stock the bog-standard multicoloured strands or balls and bits of angelica.
Also tried a specialist cake makers but they just want to sell you the ones they have made so were pretty unhelpful.

So, does anyone know anywhere that sells this sort of thing? I am ideally looking for red balls (no innuendos please :o), little hearts, white balls and maybe small flowers somewhere in the North West

Cheers

Hiya, I bought something like this when I made DD's last Birthday cake. I bought them from Asda and they're in the baking stuff section. They come in small jar that has been divided into four sections. In one section there are small pink and white flowers. In another section there are metallic cerise balls, the other section has light pink crystals and in the other bit there are larger pink and white candy balls. Sorry I'm not sure where you could get red decorations from. Could you make the decs yourself from Icing and then colour them red using icing paint/pens or could you make red icing then cut shapes out. I'm not much of a baker lol
