HELP !!! + spectrum

We recently spoke to the above company regarding a debt solution for credit cards we have paid the first instalment and the creditors are still phoning has anyone had any dealing with these people will the people help us or have we been stiched up by a bunch of (....) as I am now beginning to suspect

Would appreciate any advice anyone could give as it sounded like the perfect plan should I pay the next instalment ?????

Please helps asap as my wife is in bits at mo.

hi there is there any way u can cancel? only there are two registered charities who consolidat ur debts for free, the cccs and payplan, other than that i havent heard of spectrum b4 but im sure someone will be along shortly who can help you more, good luck xxx

i know the feeling hun, good luck and keep posting and tell wife not to worry, someone on here sed they phoned cccs and felt really ashamed and embarassed, woman on phone sed look at ur client number what we have given u (164000ish), ur not the first and you certainly wont be the last...just good to know ur not on ur own xxx

I would certainly refrain from paying any more money to a company such as Spectrum. They charge a substantial amount of money in order for them to deal with your creditors. Have you got a break down of how much each of the companies you owe are actually recieving on a monthly basis from the money you pay?

There are organisations such as ourselves that will not charge you a penny for helping you deal with the situation, as we are a charity rather than a money making organisation.

Do not pay any more money to a company claiming to sort your debts out.
You can always post up your SOA on here (see Southern Scousers sticky) and we can see if there are any areas you could cut back etc- or give CCCS a ring.
