Switching Mortgage

I have a year left on my fixed rate mortgage. Probably a silly question but could I transfer this to a 5 year fixed now or do I have to wait until next year?.

You need to find out what ERC you would pay to pay off your current deal one year early.
If you know your LTV and have a good credit history you should be able to find a good long term fix.0
