Thank you for your comments - we're glad it's inspired some fun thoughts and some action! Rabbit Amnesty has already proved really popular - it's a genuine way to get a good deal and do some recycling.
Handling the returns is OK as long as people remember to clean the rabbits before they're sent back - just as you'd clean it before you put it back in your bedside cabinet (I hope!).

Yes, people should be concerned about what they put in their bodies - just as they should be concerned about what they eat - but some of the articles about phthalates in rabbits have been rather lurid and overblown.
