If NRAM sell my mortgage

Hello
I believe that NRAM will likely sell my together mortgage in the next year or so based on what I've read....
Due to the volume of debt we have, we have never been able to remortgage away from NRAM so stuck on their SVR for the last few years.
We have just started a DMP to clear our debt so our credit file will be littered with defaults etc over the next 6 months but we have had no mortgage payment problems whatsoever.
My question is, would the new provider allow us to go on a fixed rate with them or would it be treated as a complete remortgage application? I have read that people on DMP's have managed to get new fixed rate deals with their existing lenders as no credit check was done. I'm not sure if that applies to this case as it wouldn't really be existing lender....
If not then we are stuck on SVR until defaults disappear of file, can't blame anyone else but ourselves :-(
Your advice is appreciated.

NRAM mortgages transferred would most likely be held in a separate pool. The new lender would then use the opportunity to vet the customer base bought. When considering and offering new products.0

When you say vet the customer base, in your opinion would this include new credit check?DMP Number 437

There'll be checks. The new lender has little more than a list of mortgage account numbers and balances to go on.0
